Is signup really free?

Yes — there is no fee to create a profile or browse work. We only earn when an employer pays an approved invoice for your work.

How long does onboarding take?

About 5 minutes. The wizard saves as you go, so you can come back any time. Profiles 80% complete or higher are auto-approved within minutes.

Do I have to upload a resume?

Not required, but strongly recommended. Profiles with a resume get roughly 3× more invitations.

When do I get paid?

Submit your hours through your portal each week, ending Sunday at 11:59 pm. The employer approves Mon–Wed, and Stripe deposits payment to you the following Friday.

What's the platform fee?

A flat 10% platform fee is added on top of your rate and billed to the employer. You receive 100% of your quoted rate — the fee never comes out of your earnings.

How do I get paid?

Connect your bank account inside your portal once you're matched to your first job. Stripe handles the transfer; most banks see funds Friday morning.

Are taxes withheld?

Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes. We issue an annual 1099-NEC if you earn $600+ in a calendar year.

How do you vet talent?

Every profile is verified for license/credential claims and identity before it goes live. Skilled trades licenses are checked against state registries; fractional execs are checked for LinkedIn presence and references.

What does it cost to post a job?

Posting is free. You only pay invoices for hours actually worked, plus the 10% platform fee. No subscriptions, no minimums.

Can I hire someone full-time after a trial?

Yes — convert any contractor to a full-time hire after 90 days at no additional cost. Before 90 days, a one-time conversion fee applies.

Can I switch from skilled trades to fractional (or vice versa)?

How do I delete my account?

From your portal, under Edit profile → Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent for personal data; invoice records are retained for tax compliance.
