Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PartTimePlacement (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in your jurisdiction. Employers must represent a legitimate business and provide accurate company information.
3. Accounts & Profiles
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and the security of your credentials. We may suspend accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
4. Platform Fees & Billing
Employers agree to a transparent 10% platform fee on placements made through the Service. Approved timesheets are invoiced weekly, with payment due per the invoice terms. Late payments may incur fees and result in service suspension.
5. Payroll & Independent Status
Candidates are paid weekly based on approved timesheets. Worker classification (W-2 vs 1099) is determined per engagement and applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: post discriminatory or unlawful job listings; harass other users; circumvent the platform fee by transacting off-platform with candidates introduced through us; or scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service.
7. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, job posts, messages) and grant us a limited license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee hires, placements, or work outcomes between employers and candidates.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PartTimePlacement is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may close your account at any time; outstanding obligations (e.g., unpaid invoices) survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
